Loosely based on The Ugly Duckling by Andersen, this is a magical theatrical work that re-explores a various themes of growing up. Couac deals with the birth, the first steps, the first looks about ourselves and others. By discovering the transformations of our bodies and minds, the difference between the selves and others, we finally grow up together with the ugly duckling that lies within each of us. This is a spectacle of visual and sonorous poetry, soft-spoken yet mesmerizing, for the little ones. It aptly combines dance, puppets and novelty magic tricks.
