"Father of love" raises more than 10 orphans, poor children

Zheng has raised and aided more than 10 orphans and poor children since 1991, who was dubbed as "father of love" by his children. The fruit vender's action to help orphans and poor children was learned from his primary school teacher who had treated him as her own child in Zheng's childhood. Zheng was diagnosed with colon cancer in January this year and many citizens in Anshan who were moved by his good deeds came to the hospital to visit him. Although the doctor required him to rest, Zheng went back to work only one week after his operation to earn money to keep on assisting the children. (Xinhua/Li Gang)
