7. A threat to life
Severe complications from plastic surgery may prove to be fatal. Though such cases are rare, the risks can't be ignored. One of the highest-profile cases in recent years is that of Wang Bei. The 24-year-old singer from China's Sichuan province died from receiving too much anesthesia while undergoing plastic surgery in 2010.
