Britney Spears is planning a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas.
According to reports, the singer will celebrate the start of 2007 by hosting a lavish bash at the Pure nightclub, which is located inside Caesars Palace hotel.
Las Vegas has been the location for many of Britney's infamous moments.
It was in Sin City that the "Toxic" singer married childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander, a union that lasted just 55 hours.
She also famously performed a live TV special from the MGM Grand hotel.
The pop superstar has also been flaunting her newly acquired single status with new best friend Paris Hilton in Las Vegas, with the pair being seen partying on several occasions over the last few weeks.
Britney, 24, filed for divorce from estranged husband Kevin Federline earlier last month citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Meanwhile, Alexander has admitted he wasn't surprised that Britney's marriage to Kevinimploded.
He said: "It has always been a matter of time. Their relationship had been going downhill for a while but nothing changed or got better. They had problems which they tried to sort out but obviously they couldn't sort them out."

據報道，布蘭妮將在位于凱撒宮酒店內的“純”夜總會舉行一場盛大的狂歡派對，以慶祝2007年的到來。
拉斯維加斯堪稱布蘭妮的“糗事”多發地。
布蘭妮曾在拉斯維加斯與兒時玩伴杰森·亞歷山大登記結婚，但這場婚姻僅維持了55個小時。
她也曾在拉斯維加斯的MGM豪華酒店舉辦過一場著名的現場演唱會。
前幾周，剛離婚不久的小甜甜又與新交密友帕里斯·希爾頓在拉斯維加斯的幾個酒吧大玩派對。
今年24歲的布蘭妮上月早些時候向丈夫凱文·費德林提出離婚，并稱兩人之間存在不可調和的矛盾。
而布蘭妮的“第一任丈夫”亞歷山大則稱，對此他一點也不驚訝。
他說：“他們離婚是早晚的事。他倆的關系一度陷入低谷，但情況似乎沒什么改變。他們也曾試圖解決兩人之間存在的問題，但很顯然，問題無法解決。”
