Qingdao has claimed victory in the Mighty Pacific Leg 6 of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
The British Embassy Beijing held a forum to discuss exchanges and cooperation in the UK-China sailing industry in Qingdao on March 18, just during the seventh stopover of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in the Qingdao West Coast New Area.
Qingdao was invited to present a case study on its outstanding cooperation with Clipper Ventures at a prestigious international sports summit in Beijing on March 27.
All 11 yachts left Qingdao for Seattle of America on Friday, embarking Race 9 of the 2017-18 the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
UK-China Sailing Industry Forum hosted by Clipper Race Team Partner GREAT Britain.
The area's efforts in creating the city's iconic brand "China's Sailing Capital" has gained recognition.
Clipper Race will help to inject new vitality to Qingdao's as well as the region's sailing sport and industry development.
