Qingdao, the popular coastal city in Shandong province, is holding the 15th International Fashion Week from April 24 to 28, with prominent designers and exhibitors from home and abroad participating with their latest designs and innovations.

This year's show consists of four major activities, including the 2015 China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week, Qingdao Famous Brand Exhibition Week, Qingdao Industrial Design Week and the first ever Qingdao SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) Chinese and Foreign Procurement Fair.

In an effort to contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative (the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21St Century Maritime Silk Road), the organizers invited a string of exhibitors from countries and regions along the Belt and Road to display their latest products and technologies in a range of industries such as garment, food, mechanical equipment and automotive.

The China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week is becoming one of China's major fashion events with both national and global influence, and is set to continue to grow.
