The 2014 China Mining Congress and Expo opened to the public on Tuesday at Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center. Government officials, industry leaders and experts gathered to discuss topics that the industry faces, such as the future development of the mining sector, industrial policy and the financial capital markets. Domestic and overseas investment opportunities, new technologies, new equipment, sustainable development of the mining sector, safety and environmental protection were also discussed.
