Over 200 to return to Taiwan from epidemic-hit Wuhan
WUHAN -- Over 200 Taiwan people will take a chartered flight to return to Taiwan from the mainland's novel coronavirus-hit city of Wuhan, according to the Taiwan affairs office of Hubei province.
The office said Sunday it would assist them to return to Taiwan, noting that measures have been taken to help Taiwan people in Hubei, including distributing masks, disinfectants and other medical materials.
An information gathering system has also been set up to record their daily health conditions and willingness to return to Taiwan, according to the office.
Among the Taiwan people in Hubei, one was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus and two were suspected of being infected, the office said, noting that all of them have received timely medical treatment.
