Gansu calls for foreigners to take precautions against epidemic

The foreign affairs office of the provincial government of Northwest China's Gansu province called for foreigners in the province to take precautions against the new coronavirus which first broke out in Wuhan.
In a letter published on its website, it called for foreigners to spend less time outdoors, avoid crowded places and gatherings and wear masks when going out.
By the end of Tuesday, Gansu province had reported a total of 24 confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus and three severe cases.
Gansu initiated a first-level public health emergency response on Jan 25.
