6.8-magnitude quake hits Banda Sea

JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted Banda Sea at 06:57:41 GMT on Tuesday (14:57:41 Beijing Time), the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 485.30 km, was initially determined to be at 6.4280 degrees south latitude and 126.7900 degrees east longitude.
