A super-size slide in a Shanghai shopping mall might be an alternative to those slow, boring escalators in a shopping mall.

The mall built a five-story steel tube slide that connects the fifth floor to the ground floor.

The big slide easily captures shoppers' attention. Some people are enthusiastic about taking a ride when it opens next month, while others say they are concerned about how safe it is to slide five stories down.

The slide will open to the public on March 1.
