Boys to PLA men
A set of photos of young men before and after they joined the army has gone viral online. Internet users commented that joining the military seemed to turn the melancholy boys into masculine and spirited men.
PLA Daily published the photos on its official Sina Weibo account on Sunday. The images were then forwarded on Sina Weibo, a micro-blogging site, more than 13,000 times and picked up by major Chinese news websites.
