Liangjiang explores new healthcare model for children

A new pediatric hospital has recently started trial operations on Lijia road, Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, local media reported on Oct 29.
You You Bao Bei Hospital is supported by the famous Chongqing Medical University to provide one-stop healthcare services and explore a new model for children's health management.

Within a floor area of 400,000 square meters, the children's hospital currently offers 300 beds and will function as an integrated platform for healthcare research, talent training and resource exchange.
Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University will send experienced experts in to support and guide the new hospital. You You Bao Bei is also planning to invite famous pediatric experts from home and abroad to take part in its early development.

Unlike traditional hospitals, You You Bao Bei places the consulting rooms of all disciplines on the same floor so that patients who make multiple appointments won't have to journey too far between them.
The hospital's unique arrangement came from KUME SEKKEI, a world-class design institute. The Japanese designers' works include many high-end hospitals, including MacKay Memorial Hospital.
Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area is home to 275 healthcare institutes. With rapid economic growth, medical services are becoming a priority for the area to attract more enterprises and talents.
The You You Bao Bei Hospital will add new impetus to Liangjiang's probe into pediatric healthcare.
