Chongqing Yazaki technology festival commences in Liangjiang

To promote the development of new energy vehicles, Chongqing Yazaki Meter Company held its first technology festival in Yufu industrial development zone of Liangjiang New District from July 23 to 24.
The festival aimed to explore the transformation of traditional automobile manufacturing technology and provided a technical exchange platform for the 15 participating companies.
The festival also included other related industry companies of chips, display screens, operating systems and so on, who brought their latest application cases and offered technology lectures for technicians.

The sales volume of new energy vehicles has had a year-on-year growth of 111.5 percent during the first half of 2018 in China, marking their importance in the transformation and upgrading of automotive industry.
Chongqing Yazaki Meter Company is integrated by Chongqing Lilong Technology Industry Group and Yazaki Group, providing meters and multifunctional display screens for automobile manufacturers such as Toyota, GM (General Motors Corporation), Ford and Volvo, and keeping an average sales increase of 40 percent per year.
The automobile industry in Liangjiang is developing rapidly and estimates to realize an output value of 350 billion yuan ($51.6 billion) by 2020, including 500,000 new energy and intelligent vehicles and 100 billion yuan of output value.
