Yan Chaojun, born in November 1963, is an ethnic Han from Qionghai, Hainan province. He joined the CPC in September 1986 and holds a master's degree (obtained at the Party School of the CPC). He entered the workforce in September 1981 and is currently in office as the secretary of the CPC Sanya Municipal Committee.
