Just like other regional expositions, the China-Northeast Asia Expo has strategic meaning on the national level, Zhang Yunling, researcher from the Chinese Academy of Science, said during an interview.

Zhang said that the Northeast Asia Expo carries a national strategic mission, therefore, national organizations and the provincial government shall give necessary support to it. The expo serves as a driving force to promote the prosperity and development of Northeast China. To achieve that goal, Zhang said that the priority is to highlight the features of the region.
