Founded in 1956, the Tangqiao Community Health Service Center ranks Grade 1, Class A. The center’s core competency is clinical prevention, mainly serving women, children, seniors, patients with chronic diseases and the disabled. The center provides comprehensive services involving prevention, medical treatment, healthcare, rehabilitation, health education and family planning technology.

Four community health service spots have been established by the center in Tangqiao community to provide prevention information, chronic disease control, health education, medical consultation and disease prevention. The spots have also set up home sickbeds and created files for the elderly. The center serviced 382,700 patients by the end of the year, 5.65 percent higher than last year. The total revenue was 56.92 million yuan, with a surplus reaching 4.6 million yuan.
