The opening match of 2012 national motorboat league was held on May 5th. Fan Zhixiong and Yue Dezhi, both from Guorong Team, Qingdao, won the first prize in vertical watercraft racing final and sitting watercraft steeplechase final .
F4 preliminary began after the opening ceremony. The ranking, which determines the starting position of the finals, calculated based on the number of laps the player did and the time cost. Gao Zhenyun, from Anhui team won the first in the preliminary.
Other preliminaries and finals will be held in the later days.
