Yunnan Baiyao: New industrial base completed

On December 25th, Yunnan Baiyao has completed its first phase of integral moving project, industrial base inauguration ceremony was held in Kunming. The hardware and software of Yunnan Baiyao will be completely changed, the problem of restricted capacity is expected to be solved.
Accumulative investment in the first stage project of Chenggong industrial base has achieved to 1.597 billion yuan, combining production, manufacturing, industrial culture tourism as a commercial chain. Besides, Yunnan Baiyao imported advanced technology and equipment from Germany, which had overall promoted the level of automatic control and productivity, it has provided firm support to the 12 billion yuan industrial production and commercial circulation for future development of the company. With the completion of two medicinal material production bases---Qidian industrial estate in Chenggong and Puyao prodiction base in Dali,Yunnan Baiyao will own the largest single combined preparation workshop in the country, and also be the largest center of pharmaceuticals business logistic. Moreover,it has acclimated the trend of concentration, agregation, and flexible development in the field of pharmaceutical industry, thus enhanced the core competence of the company.
Wang Minghui,CEO of Yunnan Baiyao, Co, Ltd introduced, the first phase of integral moving project will support the industrial production reach to 12 billion yuan as well as 12 billion yuan scale of commercial circulation, becoming one of the advanced domestic comprehensive pharmaceutical industry area.
The completion of Yunnan Baiyao Industrial Park, on one hand has allowed comprehensive upgrade of Yunnan Baiyao Industries, on the other hand, built a industrial platform for integration and exchange with world-class enterprises, which has laid a solid foundation for the process of internationalization of national pharmaceutical industry in Yunnan.
Recent years, through a series of institutional mechanisms for innovation and enterprise reengineering, Yunnan Baiyao has developed into a high-tech enterprise with clearly established ownership, well defined power and responsibility. It also expands products scale from a single product to diversified product series, and extends simple manufacturing to complete industrial chain. In recent 10 years, Yunnan Baiyao has kept a average annual compound growth rate over 30%, become the leader of the Chinese medicine industry.
But in the process of company development, capacity constraint has become more and more prominent. As a result, Yunnan Baiyao promoted its relocation project positively, aiming at technology innovation and industrial upgrading, efficiency improvement and cycle development.
