Agreement signed to boost new development area

A development of financial cooperation agreement was signed by China Development Bank Shaanxi branch and Development and Construction Management Committee of Xi'an-Xianyang new development area on September 8, to promote the development and construction and expand the financing channels of Xi’an-Xianyang new development area.
Yao Zhongmin, deputy party secretary of China Development Bank, and Jiang Zelin, vice governor of Shaanxi province attended the signing ceremony. Wang Jun, deputy secretary of Xi’an-Xianyang new development area party working committee, Huang Jun, chief of China Development Bank Shaanxi branch signed the cooperation agreement.
Yao said in the speech that the China Development Bank would support the financial planning, promote the establishment of modern investment and financing system and alleviate financial problems of Xi’an-Xianyang new development area with its own advantages.
Jiang expressed his thanks to China Development Bank for supporting Shaanxi province. He said Xi’an-Xianyang new development area was the new economic growth point of the 12th Five-Year Plan in Shaanxi. It was also the key to develop Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, as an international city, while the development of Xi’an international city was the key to Guanzhong- Tianshui Economic Zone. To make better developments, Xi'an-Xianyang new development area asked for a greater demand for funds raised. We were willing to cooperate with financial institutions like China Development Bank to get common development in more areas.
According to the agreement, China Development Bank will provide Xi’an-Xianyang new development area with systematic financial planning and a solid financial security through carrying out corporate bonds, medium-term notes, equity financing and others. Xi’an-Xianyang new development area Administrative Committee will also hire China Development Bank Shaanxi branch as the Financial Advisor to provide the area with comprehensive consulting services.
It is said that the cooperation between China Development Bank Shaanxi branch and Xi'an-Xianyang new development area will boost the build of Xi'an, Xiangyang and Xi’an-Xianyang new development area.
