I think having money does give you security and piece of mind, but that is not happiness. When I have enough to pay the rent and bills, food, petrol and whatever, I don't even think about money, but when it is low, that insecurity creeps in and I wish I had more. But I have never associated money with happiness, that's something I am responsible for. Whether I have enough or not enough I am grateful for what I have, that's the key to happiness...gratitude.
