The National Engineering Research Center for Rapid Manufacturing sent a delegation to the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone on May 11 to discuss mutual cooperation opportunities.

The two sides have decided to cooperate on 3D printing industry by starting up a branch of the research center in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone. The cooperation agreemnt will be signed at the China-South Asia Expo that will be heldin Kunming, Yunnan province, June 12-16.

The Center is an advanced manufacturing technology innovation platform initiated by the National Development and Reform Commission and technically and intellectually supported by the Xi’an Jiaotong University, one of the leading science and engineering universities in China.
