Migrant workers showcase artistic talents

Migrant workers took center stage at the finals of the 3rd Migrant Workers Art Festival in Kunming on May 14.
The festival kicked off in April and involved more than 3,000 applicants taking part in 600 programs.
Dai Bin, head of Kunming culture, radio, TV and sports office, addressed attendees at the finals. He stressed the important role of migrant workers in urban construction and hoped they would be able to showcase their artistic talent to the best of their ability.
A street dance opened procedures at the finals, which also included dance performances by children, adding more vitality to the event.
