According to information from the Urumqi municipal health bureau, Urumqi will finish its medical tourism promotion platform this year with the help of websites in Chinese, English and Russian to promote provision of Xinjiang’s superior health services to its neighboring countries.

The platform will use various media to publicize the advantages of Urumqi’s medical and health resources to patients and tourists both in Xinjiang and outside China.

People will be able to seek medical advice during their travel to Urumqi, which will fuel the construction of the medical service center in the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
