An unveiling ceremony for the Wudang Martial Arts Association Tianjin branch was held in Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin, on Dec 2.

During the ceremony, Wudang’s tai chi group amazed Tianjin audiences with marvelous tai chi shows. The kung fu groups from Tianjin University of Technology and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with a children's wushu team, also brought a wonderful kung fu performance.

Wudang's profound Taoist culture and kung fu are popular around the world. They require better preservation and transmission. Blending Wudang culture with Tianjin characteristics can not only popularize Taoist culture but also bring Tianjin locals closer to authentic tai chi.
