In the first four months this year, 53 new projects launched construction in Binhai new area, increasing the quantity of important industries and infrastructure projects with capital above 50-million-Yuan to 322. The principal part of the first workshop building for the new generation of carrier rocket industrialization project has been constructed with equipment installation and debugging having began. The first-phase workshops for the general wing assembly project of Xi’an Aircraft Industry Company (XAC) will be delivered for use at the end of August.
The first-phase workshops of 8,000 square meters for the general wing assembly of XAC within the Airport Industrial Park of Tianjin Free Trade Zone has finished the works of steel beam structuring. As introduced by the project principal, the first-phase workshops will finish the structuring of the exterior wall principal part in May. From May 25 to the beginning of July the exterior construction of the workshops will be finished; in August the mechanical and electrical equipments, air conditioners, and lighting devices will be installed. On August 30 the workshops will be delivered for use.
The principal part, steel structure erection, and ceiling of the tank welding and assembly workshop, the first workshop for the new generation of carrier rocket industrialization project have been constructed, and their installation and debugging have begun. The construction of the experimental building and service building of the International Biomedical Research Institute has come to end, and over 450 workers are working for the consequent fine fitment to ensure the completion before the end of May, providing a conference place for “2009 International Conference for Bio-economy” in June.
Additionally, to construct Asia’s largest hydropower and wind electricity equipment manufacturing base, the Alstom large hydropower equipment project is at the phase for the ground construction of workshops. In order to quicken construction progress, the steel structures are being built at the same time. The principal part of ZTW north base R&D office area bid lot 1 has finished roof-sealing and began equipment installation and internal fitment, accumulating an investment of 300-million Yuan.
Other projects under busy construction are Isoftstone service outsourcing base, Datang telecom Tianjin base, Hengwin electronic product base, Johndeere agricultural machineries testing and R&D center, Tecent Internet data R&D center, Zhongju high-definition digital TV, and Novozymes biological pharmacy etc.
