The Feicheng High-tech Industrial Development Zone was established in 1992 and is an important national high-tech zone located in Tai'an,?Shandong province. It relies on the strategic location and economic strength of Feicheng to boost the development of the city.

?It is only 80 kilometres away from the Jinan?Yaoqiang International?Airport, 400 kilometres away from Qingdao Port, and a 20-minute drive from the high-speed railway station.

The zone has developed four leading industries: high-end equipment manufacturing industry, textile and garment industry, new materials industry, and food processing industry.

It also plans to develop industries such as prefabricated buildings, internet of things, and modern logistics in the near future.

The high-tech zone boasts strong supporting infrastructure such as thermal power plants, sewage treatment plants, and water supply companies, costing around 1.5 billion yuan ($214 million).
