A cross-Straits agricultural technology forum was held in Taigu county, Shanxi province, Dec 7.
The forum centered around intelligent and sustainable agriculture and functional foods and was sponsored by the government of Jinzhong city, Shanxi Agriculture University, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences and K.T.Li Foundation for Development of Science and Technology.
More than 80 experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the agriculture industry attended the event.
Through technological communication between Shanxi province and Taiwan, the forum aimed to offer technological support and a demonstration of industrial technology, innovation and upgrading of local industry to help develop Taigu county into the Agricultural Valley of Shanxi.
