A business matching conference between Shanxi and Guangdong provinces focusing on advanced equipment manufacturing was held by the Shanxi Department of Industry and Information Technology on Nov 30.
More than 100 people including government officials from Shanxi province and Shenzhen, representatives of equipment manufacturers and directors of development areas in Shanxi and Guangdong provinces attended the conference.
Li Xiaobo, director of Shanxi Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced Shanxi's advantages including its industrial foundation, market, location, and business environment at the conference, inviting more Guangdong equipment manufacturers to invest in the province.
The business matching conference saw agreements signed for five projects worth 550 million yuan ($79.90 million).
