The 2018 Cultural and Creative Industry Forum (CCIF) was held in Pingyao on Oct 20 and 21.
Sponsored by the Palace Museum and Pingyao government, the forum had regional culture and development of contemporary cultural and creative industry as its main theme.
More than 200 representatives of companies and organizations in China’s cultural and creative industry as well as experts and scholars from the United Kingdom and South Korea discussed ways of integrating the creative industry with other industries.
The forum saw agreements worth 1 billion yuan ($144.07 million) signed between Pingyao Cultural Innovation and Communication Center and 10 companies and organizations.
