Branded products of Shanxi were promoted at the first Expo on China Indigenous Brands in Shanghai between May 10 and 12.
Among more than 600 domestic brand companies and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises present at the expo, 13 covering the primary, secondary and tertiary industries came from Shanxi.
Shanxi has been committed to brand building in recent years with a series of influential Shanxi brands going global. It now has 27 China's time-honored brand companies, 48 brands with the national geographical indication trademark, 90 with the Chinese well-known trademark and 797 with the Shanxi well-known trademark.
Through the expo which aimed to show Chinese indigenous brands' achievements in development and enlarging their influence, Shanxi hoped to help local companies further communication with other businesses beyond Shanxi and improve Shanxi brands' reputations.
