Shanxi set a goal of developing 1,000 brand-name products and building 15 demonstration areas for nationally-famous brand manufacturers by 2020, at a work meeting held by Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision in Taiyuan on Feb 28.
According to the plan, Shanxi will develop 30 brands with geographical indication, build over 20 national standardization pilot demonstration areas and further product quality reform in the next three years.
Shanxi held a provincial quality conference in October 2017, and released 535 Shanxi branded products.
