A new project to boost tourism in the city of Pingyao, Shanxi province, "Leisure g tour in beautiful Shanxi", held an opening ceremony, on May 15, to announce that they will keep their promise to provide discount tickets and improve services and the environment at scenic spots. The provincial tourism office has insisted that all preferential policies in tourist industry be implemented and that supervisors keep an eye on tourist attraction services.
