Shanghai Happy Valley ushered in the springtime tourism season by holding the Butterfly Festival, which will run from March 5 to 27.

To please female visitors, Shanghai Happy Valley rolled out a number of promotions and activities targeting women and will become a pink paradise during the festival.

Female festivalgoers wearing skirts or pink clothing will receive a half-price day ticket, costing only 115 yuan ($18.19) per person, while a preferential ticket for two (containing at least one woman) would cost only 299 yuan. There are also special tickets available for 59.9 yuan for a specified time slot (2 pm to 9:30 pm).

Beautiful females in Lolita-style outfits, a Victorian-style costume consisting of a lace top and a voluminous skirt with a petticoat underneath, were among the NPCs debuted during the event, along with handsome guys who have gained some social media renown. At special locations and activities, visitors will have the opportunity to meet and play with them.

Visitors can also take part in a running race in Shanghai Happy Valley on March 12. Gifts will be given to all participants, and prizes will be given to the winners.

During the festival, Shanghai Happy Valley will host a romantic activity in the Pink Section of Lakeside Square. Singles can leave their business cards in a box and take the cards of others.

Shanghai Happy Valley is a well-known amusement park with a range of thrill-seeking attractions. Within the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort, it is a 4A-rated tourist attraction.
