Opened to the public in 2005, Shanghai Moon Lake Sculpture Park is now a 4A-level scenic spot at the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort. It is also a science polarization base in Shanghai.

With the construction concept of "returning to nature and enjoying art", the comprehensive artistic park integrates modern sculptures, natural scenery and landscape art.

The park spans 100 hectares and is centered on the 31-hectare Moon Lake. Four Season themed zones, Spring Shore, Summer Shore, Autumn Shore, and Winter Shore, are located around the lake and include various landscape and architectural styles.

A water curtain bridge, a stalactite cave, a water stage, and the Shenxin Master Water Sports Club may all be found on the Spring Shore.

The Summer Shore has a beach, a paddling pool, climbing nets, small trains, a cruise ship wharf, a Boulder Forest Square, and other large outdoor recreational facilities.

The Autumn Shore has the Moon Lake Art Museum, Performance Plaza, Post Cafe, and Qiuyuefang Restaurant. It allows visitors to feel the breath of art when they wander among dozens of master sculptures and enjoy various art themed exhibitions.

The Winter Shore has a water dance music fountain, a hiking trail and a cherry blossom forest.

More than 80 outdoor sculptures with different shapes and concepts created by contemporary artists from more than 20 countries are scattered around the lake. They perfectly match with the scenic mountains, extraordinary artistic landscapes and architecture.

Many of the sculptures contain the meaning of "life", which reflect the theme that water is the "source of life" and convey the hope that people will love and protect nature.

The park also has beautiful evergreen lawns and rich vegetation, making it an ideal place for family outings and a place for people to walk their pets.

The park is located in Songjiang district, about 30 kilometers from downtown Shanghai.
