The branch of Cai Feng Lou at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland was recently nominated in the 2022 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.

This year, 736 restaurants from 26 cities made the nominee list, which was closely watched by foodies. The branch, which is highly-rated on Chinese customer review apps, is the only restaurant from Songjiang district in Shanghai on the list.

Cai Feng Lou is a high-end Cantonese restaurant by the InterContinental Hotels Group. It also offers Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisines.

The restaurant adjusts its menu every season to provide customers with the freshest of seasonal ingredients.

Its signature dishes include whole melon soup with seafood, bamboo mushrooms and fresh lotus seeds, classic roasted lobster in clay pot, and stir fried coral grouper with milk and almond.

The branch at the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland has a distinctive interior design inspired by traditional Chinese culture. The InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland is the world's first underground hotel built at the site of an abandoned quarry, and restaurant guests will get to enjoy a unique view through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
