"Vocal Force" delights the audience performing soundtracks from classic movies.

The extravaganza continued into the second day focusing on classic folk songs. Gong Linna, a singer famous for adding new twists to traditional songs, entertained the audience with her distinctive voice and patriotic spirit. Mongolian band "Anda Union" channeled the sounds of the prairies and plains from the north of the country, and international band "Sound Scape" performed a diverse set taking listeners on an exotic journey across the globe.

Uyghur artists perform folk songs at the fifth lawn concert held at Chenshan Botanical Garden on May 15.

This year's concert saw the introduction of a smaller support stage, on which Uyghur artists put on a show of their musical culture, and a band from Inner Mongolia's Xilingol grasslands displayed a unique blend of traditional and modern styles.

In addition, visitors attending the concert were able to wander around the tranquil Chenshan Botanical Garden and take part in face painting, lantern making and eggshell sketching.
