Century Bell Tower, situated at the eastern foot of West Sheshan Mountain, was built to celebrate the Millennium. The bell tower has two storys.

On the upper story, a century bell is hung. The lower story enshrines Amitabha Buddha. This century bell, together with the giant bell in Suzhou Hanshan Temple and the giant bell in small?Kunshan Mountain's Nine Peaks?Temple have a similar shape and size. Tourists may strike the bell. Its sound is loud and clear, resounds in Sheshan Mountain and can be heard miles away. It conveys luck, virtue and goodness and blessings for the people.
