Shanghai's Jiading district has made fruitful achievements in establishing schools in 2021 with the opening of 14 new schools.

For instance, the Yun Gu Road Kindergarten, which is located in the Jiading New City, is a new kindergarten that opened in 2021.
The kindergarten is equipped with sufficient outdoor toys and sports facilities as well as a reading space that offers various types of picture books and soft cushions for students to study and socialize.
All the faculty will keep working on providing quality educational resources to every child, said Qiu Ji, principal of the kindergarten.

Located in Juyuan New Area, Chengzhonglu Primary School's east campus also opened in 2021, exemplifying Jiading district's efforts of providing more educational resources to students.
The campus currently has nine classes for both Grades 1 and 2 with an enrollment of 292 students. In addition to basic school courses, the school offers special classes such as golf, which are popular among students.
"The school is newly built and features first-class facilities and equipment. We are lucky to have such a good school near where we live," said Fu Yongkang, a parent of a student who is studying at the primary school.
Establishing schools is one of the major tasks of Jiading district's goal to build a 15-minute living circle, which aims to enable local residents to enjoy relatively complete basic public services such as elderly care, education and sports facilities within a 15-minute walk from home.
