Health authorities in Jiading district said that the construction of new facilities at Anting Hospital has basically been completed and the new site is expected to put into operation in the first half of next year.
Local authorities explained that the new hospital will consist of a 12-story ward building, a four-story outpatient building, a four-story emergency building and an administration building.
The new hospital is about three times larger than the old site, with a construction area of 64,000 square meters and 369 parking spaces.
The new hospital has 500 beds, including 300 medical beds, 150 beds for the elderly and 50 beds for rehabilitation. It will build a rehabilitation department covering 500 sq m, with functional areas such as cardiac, postpartum and respiratory rehabilitation.
The new hospital will be equipped with advanced medical instruments and will adopt the latest intelligent technologies to offer better services.
