At the inauguration ceremony, some kids received awards for their outstanding performances. A group of new young pioneers stood in line and swore oaths.
Zhou Jinlin, deputy Party secretary of Jiading, attended the ceremony and gave local kids congratulations and cordial greetings. Zhou urged local youth organizations to do better in educating the young generation.
Also, he encouraged the kids to study hard and be diligent so as to make contributions to the country's future development.

This year's carnival, which is expected to attract nearly 1,000 students and teachers from over 40 schools, consists of a series of activities, featuring exhibitions of youth traditional culture training projects, popularization of intangible cultural heritages and children's art festivals.
