The Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center is located by Fushan Bay in the New District of eastern Qingdao，facing May Fourth Square across the sea.
On February 23, the last Yacht of the 4th leg of 2009-2010 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race arrived in Qingdao.

147 teenagers from cities across Shandong Province, including Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang attended the 2009 Shandong province Sailboat Youth Championship, held in the Qingdao Olympic Center waters today.
Qingdao International Sailing Week will kick off in the Olympic Sailing center here on August 21.
