"I have been to Dandong many times over the past few years and each time I find great changes had been taken place in the city. The thing that does not change, however, is the beautiful environment, good air quality and clean water of Yalu River," said Zhang Shucheng from the Northeast supervision center, Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Four staff members from the supervision center came to Dandong for researche purposes. Zhang Shucheng, who is familiar with Dandong, introduced Dandong's specialties to his fellow colleagues.
"Dandong left a great impression on me. Among all 14 cities of Liaoning province, Dandong is the most suitable place to live in," said Zhang.
As an environmentalist, Zhang Shucheng has visited a lot of places and his love for Dandong has influenced everyone he has come into contact with.
Li Guo'an, deputy head of the environmental protection branch of the cooperation zone, said that as an environmentalist, he will work harder to attract more people to work, live and invest in Dandong.
