Ecological tourism and cultural festival to kick off

The Chongyi ecological tourism and cultural festival and green industrial project promotion meeting will kick off from June 15 to 16, 2012.

Chongyi boasts of rich ecological tourism resources, forest and mineral resources. With a forest coverage rate of 88.3 percent, it enjoys the title of "Chinese oxygen bar and green Chongyi".

This festival is held to enhance ecological tourism in Chongyi, promote local investments and construction. A series of activities will be hosted including a round-the-city race and an ecological tourism experience activity. The festival will also take the opportunity to promote a large number of green industrial projects concerning the cultural industry, tourism development, new energy, new material and non-medal processing.
