The resort

Tianmu Hot Spring Resort on Mingyue Mountain is most famous for its hot spring.?It is over 800 years old and produces about 7,000 tons of hot spring water a day from granites 470 meters underground. The water temperature keeps at around 68 C-72 C all year round. The hot spring, colorless and tasteless, has low sodium and rich selenium and metasilicic acid, which are rare in the world. It is fit for drinking and bathing.

The open-air hot spring

The open-air hot spring resort, surrounded by green hills, contains more than 50 hot spring bathing pools of unique features. The open-air zone comprises of 10 sections. The sections that use traditional Chinese herbal medicines are Taichi recuperation pools, Tianmu characteristic pool, and beauty pools. The SPA section contains the SPA hall, hot spring sauna, and hot spring swimming pool. Other parts include the five-element pool, bamboo forest pool, bright moon-rivulet pool, jungle pool, aquatic park pool, and natural bathing pool. The hot-spring zone has also designed pools such as the snow pool, the salt fog pool, the cool fog pool for summer days and aquatic sports activities like the sea wave pool, the rafting slide, the countercurrent swimming pool and the underwater fitness pool.

According to the UN Health Organization, selenium is the only mineral material with anti-cancer functions. The hot spring has obvious curative effects on cardiovascular, the digestion system, the urinary system, rheumatic arthritis, hypertension, chronic gastroenteritis, lumbar muscle strain, and sciatica diseases.?
