Wu Yaofang, the president and general manager of Jiangsu Yonggang Group Co., Ltd. was recently honored as a 2017 outstanding?entrepreneurs for his contribution to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Yonggang Group performed well in carrying out the Belt and Road Initiative with its products exported to over 29 countries and regions along the route, including 187,000 tons of rebar. The exports increased by 173 percent in 2017.

In recent years, the Yonggang Group has made remarkable achievements in optimizing the structure and increasing the added value of its products, which have been widely applied to various major engineering projects.

It has also cooperated with China’s top enterprises, like Huawei technologies, as a leading global information and communication solutions provider.

Wu said the company would keep fostering top technological personnel to improve product quality.
