The winning design for the official logo of the Zhangjiagang Drama Festival has been revealed at a ceremony held on Jan 31, netting the winner 10,000 yuan ($1,600) in cash.

Since the design competition launched in November last year, the organizers received 109 submissions, of which eight made it through to the final round.

Through the designers' self-explanation and a Q&A process, the winning design was selected as the logo for festival.

The first Zhangjiagang Drama Festival organized by Zhangjiagang Poly Grand Theater is set to open in March 5, 2016 and lasts till August 11. Performances will include Goodbye Mr. Loser, The Lost Tomb, Empress Wuzetian, The Savage Land, Thunderstorm, and Sunrise.
