The Poly Grand Theatre in the city of Zhangjiagang put on the "Qunxing Awards" show on June 28. Some award-winning theatrical works selected from the Qunxing Awards were staged at the theatre.

The Qunxing Awards, the top prize for amateur artistic work, has driven a large number of artists to create quality works and promote development of mass culture and art in the nation.

Most of the works depict the daily life of ordinary people, so can more easily touch audience's hearts.

The award-winning works include dances, solos and operas, which won over audiences with their local features.
