Three industrial parks in Zhangjiagang of Jiangsu province made the top 10 list during a 2012 inspection by the province’s department of commerce.

The modern equipment manufacturing industrial park in Zhangjiagang Economic & Technological Development Zone and the eco-friendly new material industrial park in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone ranked second and seventh, respectively, on the list.

Jiangsu Yangtze International Metallurgical Industrial Park also made the list.

A total of 133 industrial parks were inspected.

Zhangjiagang attaches great importance to the development of new industries. It has set up nine provincial-level industrial parks.

Zhangjiagang will keep enhancing the competitiveness of its parks and promoting industrial transformation and upgrade to lead the city’s economic development.
