Nanfeng town held a special theatrical performance on civil and moral education on the afternoon of June 27. It brought the moral actions of model citizens to life in the form of songs, comedy sketches, poetry recitations and live interviews.

Twelve enterprises made charitable donations during the performance, which added up to more than 2.3 million yuan ($369,700).

In recent years, Nanfeng town has not only concentrated on economic development, but also on the the construction of citizen morality. Society has continually improved, creating model moral citizens and good deeds. Nanfeng town has successfully won recognition as a “Civilized Town in Zhangjiagang”.
